Summer Music and Arts Camp for Kids = SMACK!
Held every other year, SMACK is a week-long music and arts camp for children who complete kindergarten in May/June 2023 up to those who complete 5th grade in May/June 2023.
Our camp exists to guide children to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and become lifelong worshipers of God through music, arts, and media. We do this by equipping kids to offer whatever talents, gifts, and skills they possess back to God as an act of worship.
The SMACK camp fee includes registration fee, camp T-shirt, music CD, daily snacks and all supplies. Lunch is not included. Each child brings a bagged lunch and drink, a happy attitude, and a willingness to learn each day.
Each day, children attend two electives of their choice as well as large group worship rallies and small group music sessions.
The elective classes that are currently confirmed are:
Hip Hop, Balloon Art, Woodworking, Art, Rec + Games, Dance Worship, Drum (this class teaches drum basics on pails, cans, and bins), Crafts, LEGO, Sign Language, and Fun with Instruments & Drums (this class includes Orff instruments like xylophones and glockenspiel as well as different types of drums)
We are hoping to confirm an instructor for Guitar. Please note that this class will show as available to select on the registration form but there is the possibility it may not be available at camp.
