SMACK (Summer Music & Arts Camp for Kids) is a week-long day camp that builds on the concept of our school-year KidsPraise worship and arts ministry, but instead – an immersive week of music, arts, and fun and finishing with a Friday afternoon performance for parents and families. Our mission is to help kids know Jesus as their Savior and grow into lifelong worshipers of God through music, arts, and media. SMACK is open to children who complete Kindergarten in May/June 2026 up to those who complete 5th grade in May/June 2026.
- Each day, Just Completed 1st- Just Completed 5th Grade children attend two elective classes as well as large group worship rallies/music sessions. When filling out the registration form, please select FOUR CLASSES that your child would be happy to participate in from the available elective classes and we will place them in two classes based on availability and order of registration. We will make every attempt to accommodate your child’s first choices. If you don’t give us four choices, we’ll make them for you! Kids will not be placed in two identical classes for both sessions.
- SMACK Jr. – Children who are Just Completing Kindergarten will participate in SMACK Jr., a self- contained version of SMACK. These children will not participate in elective classes but will participate in music, rec, crafts, etc. in a self-contained rotation. This is consistent with how Kindergarten works during KidsPraise. They will sing in the Friday afternoon performance.
CAMP FEE: The $150 camp fee includes registration fee, five days of camp from 9 am to 2 pm each day, camp T-shirt, ballcap, daily snacks and all supplies. Each child should bring a labeled bagged lunch and drink Monday–Thursday, plus a positive attitude and willingness to learn! If your child has special dietary needs, feel free to send replacement snacks for those provided during the day. LUNCH IS PROVIDED ON FRIDAY. If bringing a water bottle or lunch box, please ensure it is permanently marked with your child’s full name.
LOUD MUSIC/STROBE LIGHTS DISCLAIMER: The daily worship rallies will include loud music, strobe lights, smoke and theatrical stage lighting. We do have noise-cancelling headphones available and your child may bring their own.

If you have special requests (placing siblings or friends together, etc.), please include that in the notes section; however, please note that we do not make any guarantees of placement but we try our best. Kids will sit in worship rallies based on their last name groups (A-G, H-L, M-Q, R-Z). Kindergarteners will not be placed outside their grade level at any point.

***IF REGISTERING AFTER JULY 1, 2026 – We cannot guarantee shirt sizes as the order will already have been placed. Shirts will be available for pick up every morning during SMACK.
INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
We’d love your help serving at SMACK! SMACK requires close to 100 volunteers to make this incredible week possible. Adult volunteers must be regular attenders of Anastasia Church and, if not already approved to serve with children or youth, complete our volunteer application process (visit here to learn more). Youth volunteers undergo a selection process with priority given to those who regularly serve on Sunday mornings in AKids/AKids Jr or on Wednesdays with KidsPraise.
