“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10
We are blessed with a wonderful family of men, women, and youth, who give their time to the church to honor God and to love others. Volunteers play a vital role in all that our church accomplishes.
With four services on Sunday morning, we have multiple opportunities for you to worship with the church family and still have time to serve in another service. Anastasia Kids has many different roles and aims to place volunteers, including youth, where they are shaped by God to serve.
To our current volunteers: we thank you for making a difference in the lives of many children. If you’re thinking of becoming a volunteer, we pray for God to guide you in this important decision.
The safety of our children is a priority at Anastasia Church. At least two screened adult volunteers will be in attendance in each classroom at all times and no children will be left unattended.
Before serving with children, Anastasia Kids adult volunteers are required:
- be at least 18 years old
- been a church member for at least six months
- complete a Volunteer Screening application
- pass a background check
- complete a sexual abuse awareness training course.
