Identical sessions of AKids and AKids Jr.  are offered during two Sunday morning service times

at 9:00 am and 10:30 am for Infants thru Fifth Grade

9:00 AM SERVICE

  • 8:50 am children are accepted into classrooms
  • We need time to prepare classrooms  and volunteers for the 10:30 am classes so please be on time to retrieve your kids. 

10:30 AM SERVICES

  • 10:20 am children are accepted into classrooms.
  • Please be on time to retrieve your kids so we can clean the classrooms, prepare for next week and let our wonderful volunteers go home. 

Infants through kindergarten classrooms are located ion the first floor of the NextGen Center while first through 5th grade children are dropped off and picked up on the 2nd floor.

Children may stay for both service times ONLY if their adults are attending a worship in one hour and serving in a ministry or attending a Lifegroup in the second hour. Please let the AKids or AKids Jr. teams know they will be staying for two hours when you drop them off.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAYS – FAST FACTS (more details HERE)

  • Location: NextGen Center on Anastasia Church Campus (map address: 1685 Old Beach Rd, St. Augustine FL 32080)

  • First Visit: Stop at the Welcome Desk in the NextGen lobby to fill out a New Family Registration Form and get name tags for kids (5th grade & under) + a parent pick-up tag.

  • Security: We use KidCheck for check-in, safety, and attendance. Your account will be created during the week after your first visit.

  • Weekly Check-In: Use iPads in the Main Church Atrium or NextGen 1st Floor lobby → enter your phone number → print tags.

  • Class Locations: We begin welcoming children into our learning spaces 10 minutes before each service—at 8:50 am and 10:20 am. Before that time, our team is making sure volunteers are in place, classrooms are prepared, and, after the 9 am service, we are often still dismissing children until about 10:15 am.

    • Infants–Kindergarten: Early Childhood Wing (1st Floor)

    • 1st–5th Grade: 2nd Floor (staff & security at stairs)Pick-Up: Wear your parent tag —tags must match for release.

       

Security & Check-In Reminders for Kids and Students

📍 KidCheck/YouthCheck Stations are located in the South Atrium near the Welcome Desk and on the first floor of the NextGen Center.

  • Infants through 5th Grade: If you check your child in using the KidCheck app, please make sure their grade level is up to date. If you use the iPads, you’ll be prompted to update their grade during check-in.
  • Middle & High School Students (Anastasia Students):  We have begun using YouthCheck for check-in. If your student was previously in KidCheck, they can still use it – just select “Youth Department” as their location. They also have the option to download and use the YouthCheck app.
  • Important Safety Reminder: All parents going to the 2nd Floor and 3rd Floors must show or wear their Guardian Receipt name tag to access the stairwell or elevator for check-in and dismissal.
  • All Anastasia Students must show their YouthCheck check-in on their phone or a printed name tag to use the stairwell or elevator.
