COVID-19

March 18, 2020

Hello friends!

To our Anastasia Kids and KidsPraise families, we want you to know that both your physical and spiritual wellness are the priority of your church family! We’re right here with you to offer support and a steady hand during these uncertain times.

We at Anastasia Church are monitoring the most reliable up-to-date information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and want to communicate these immediate changes to our worship and ministry schedules.

The Church has made the decision to transition to online-only livestreams of our worship services starting this weekend and to postpone all onsite activities, including children’s ministry, at least through the end of March, effective immediately. Regretfully, due to the uncertainty of timing, we’ve decided to cancel this year’s Easter Egg Hunt.

Parents, while we do not know how long we will be meeting online, we still want to equip you with the resources that you need to teach your kids about Jesus. We’re excited to announce that beginning this weekend, we’ll be sharing activities and challenges for your children to do at home here on our website as well as ways they can engage with others through our social media pages. Look for emails and Facebook links to meaningful and playful learning opportunities for you and your child to explore at home. Whenever you do the activities, be sure to let us know on our Facebook pages. We would love to hear from you and we still want to stay connected!

Please take a moment to like and follow ALL of our Anastasia children’s ministry Facebook pages as much of the curriculum will be shared this way. For our KidsPraise families who don’t attend on the weekends, this is a great introduction to Anastasia Kids, our weekend kids ministry, and its curriculum!

Anastasia Kids (1st-5th grade weekend ministry)

Anastasia Kids EC (birth – kindergarten weekend ministry)

KidsPraise (3 year olds – 5th grade midweek ministry)

We wish you and your family good health and look forward to sharing our programming with you soon. We will keep you updated on our progress during these next few weeks. Please take care of each other, wash your hands, and be respectful of the social distancing guidelines.

Remember that God is in control and we have no reason to fear or panic!

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

1 Peter 5:6-7
